Welcome to Wallis Designs!

This is the online home of my beautiful, original jewelry made from the heart.  Each is designed and carefully handmade by me.  All items are made and shipped from my home studio outside of Toronto.  In fact, everything from sourcing supplies, designing, creating, photography, editing, packaging and shipping, website design and maintenance and answering emails is all done by me. You can be assured that when you buy from Wallis Designs you are supporting a home-based, Canadian artist.  I'm proud of my products and my workmanship. I've been on-line for over 8 years now and I've sold well over 2000 orders to happy customers around the world.

Currency

My shop processes all orders in Canadian Dollars ($CAD).  There is a drop-down menu supporting USD, GBP, EUR and AUD.  By clicking on one of these you can get the approximate price in your currency.  These rates are updated twice daily and are obtained from www.xe.com  On the checkout page, the price will revert back to $CAD.  Your order will be processed in $CAD and your choice of payment, credit card or Paypal will convert to your currency as per their policies.

Packaging

I gift wrap every order in coloured tissue paper.  It is then mailed in a cushioned bubble pack mailer. By doing this I can help you keep your shipping costs as low as possible while at the same time keeping your purchase protected during delivery.

If you are sending as a gift I can include a gift tag with your personal message to your recipient. Please just let me know what you would like me to write.

 

Shipping 

I use Canada Post to ship all packages.

Within Canada:
Oversize Lettermail - Typical delivery times:  3 - 7 business days
Expedited - 1-3 days depending on location.

 

US Destinations:

Light Packet Air -Typical delivery times:  5 - 10 business days
Tracked Packet Insured - 6 business days
Expedited - 2-3 business days depending on location

 International Destinations:

Light Packet Air 
Typical Delivery Times:
U.K., Europe and Australia - 1-3 weeks
Elsewhere - up to 4 - 6 weeks

I usually ship within 1-3 business days of your order placement.  Made to order and custom orders will take longer to ship.  Please note that my shipping days are currently consolidated to Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Delivery times do vary and can be increased by weather, volume, delays in your country's customs or postal service. I cannot guarantee delivery dates however I do promise to ship out your order promptly.

Returns

I want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please contact me first and I will do my utmost to make you a happy customer.  If a return is necessary I have a 30 day return policy from date of purchase.  After 30 days unfortunately I can't offer you a refund or exchange.

Due to health and sanitary reasons earrings are not fully refundable. I am unable to reuse earwires and therefore a $5 fee will be deducted from refund amount. This fee will cover the replacement and exchange of the earwires.

To be eligible for a return, please contact me first. The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original or comparable packaging and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please contact me for correct address to return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Once your returned item is received and found to be in original condition I will process your refund. Your refund will be the purchase price of the item less $5 (if applicable for earrings and earwire replacement) less original shipping charge (if applicable). A refund will be made through your original method of payment whether that is Paypal or Shopify Credit Card Processing.

If you are shipping an item to return over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
