It's been another week where it just flew by. I'm really starting to not like that feeling. We're all so 'busy' and in fact we are, but do we really need to be so busy? I often find that I'm just trying to make it to the end of the day. That's really no way to live.
I think I actually need to start organizing my day better, including scheduling some down time. I love the flexibility of owning my own business, but when it's online you can imagine it's hard to escape it sometime. You can often find me huddled over my beads or staring at a computer in the evenings and the weekends. I use my calendar on my iPhone, it's great on the run and I love how it automatically connects to all my devices. I find it works well for keeping appointments and general schedules but for a daily business schedule I'm much better with pen to paper. I am a true lover of the to-do list. I've been looking at different day planners this week and I had no idea of the enthusiam regarding them. I mean, there are Youtube videos! Seriously!?!! I really like the look and set up of the Erin Condren Planner but it is rather expensive. I also like the Plum Paper Planner. Do you have a favourite planner? Have you used either of these ones? I'd love to hear your opinion.
I'm hoping this weekend that we can all stop to smell the roses. Well, my roses mysteriously disappeared when this one showed up last fall but we seem to have come to some sort of an understanding now with a little talking to, container gardening and fencing.

I hope to get out in the garden again this weekend. Just a few more places to fill in the empty spots from the fine excavation work performed by... ah-hem... she shall remain nameless. It's raining again today but Saturday is looking pretty good. Our garden sure is thriving with all this rain.
So friends, I hope you have some time this weekend to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the people around you.
Have a wonderful weekend.Best,Nancy.
